  3. Power of communication • Healing • “A soothing tongue is a tree of life, …” (Prov 15:4). • “The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, …(Prov 10:11). • “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Pro 18:21).

  4. Communication & relationships • With Each Other The word “communication” comes from a Latin word “to share.” • With God(Genesis 2-3; John 1:14-18)

  5. Communication & relationships • Fools don’t listen, therefore don’t communicate: (1 Sam 25)

  6. Words determine • Direction in life(James 3:1-5) • The one who guards his mouth preserves his life; the one who opens wide his lips comes to ruin (Prov 13:3). • Destiny of the soul (Matt 12:33-37)

Great communication • Speak only what is Edifying, Appropriate & Gracious. • Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edificationaccording to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. • Prov 15:23; Luke 4:16-23; Col 4:5-6; Eph 4:31-32
