  4. Here’s what last seasons Silver students said … • “It's a great way to extend your expedition skills. You also go somewhere different and more interesting than bronze.” • “I finished bronze not sure whether I wanted to carry on. I'm glad I did it and it's a shame so many people stop after bronze. I enjoyed silver a lot more and am now hoping to do gold next year! “ • “I think that it was a very good experience which I wouldn't have experienced without silver dofe and have made my friendships within the group better.”

  5. The Sections • Volunteering: undertaking service to individuals or the community. (Duration: 6 months) • Physical: improving in an area of sport, dance or fitness activities. • Skills: developing practical and social skills and personal interests. • Physical and Skills. (Duration : one section for 6 months and the other for 3 months). • Expedition: planning, training for and completion of an adventurous journey in the UK or abroad

Section Opportunities • Physical: so many Sports/Dance Clubs • Skill: Dance/Sports/Music Leaders, going to after school clubs such as art, photography, drama, music etc. • Volunteering: helping out at Y5 clubs, helping out at science club, helping out at homework club • Expedition: we sort for you

  7. The Training • Done in Groups • Five After-school Sessions. • Wed or Thur, October 2013 – March 2014 • Night Navigation ( Alice Holt Forest) • Fri 28 March 2014, 4 – 9pm

  8. The Practice Expedition • The New Forest • Fri 25 - Sun 27 April 2014 • 3 days/2 nights • First night at campsite • Second night wild camping in the Forest

  9. The Final Expedition • Dartmoor • 1 day travel • Fri 02 – Mon 05 May 2104 • 3 days/2 nights • First night at campsite or wild camping on the moor. • Second night wild camping on the moor. • 1st Night Team Meal in Restaurant.
