  1. I Corinthians 16: 13 Analyzed Introduction: Anterior to application, we must make sure we understand what a verse is saying. Hence, let us consider some different translations of I Corinthians 16: 13.

I Corinthians 16: 13 Analyzed “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong” (KJV). “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” (NASV). “Be keeping a watchful eye ever open. Be standing fast in the faith. Be showing yourselves to be men. Be mighty in strength” (Wuest’s Expanded Translation).
