  1. Throwback to When Jessica Kahal Paid Tribute to the Victims of Sept. 11Terrorist Attacks On Sept. 11, 2001, the whole world looked on in horror as terrorists flew hijacked passenger planes into NYC's mighty twin towers, destroying the iconic buildings & killing thousands of innocent people. Following the terroristattacks, many Americans turned to music to soothe, pacify, and heal. Through their music, artists not only from the Unites States but from around the world paid tribute to those who lost their lives. Around this time, one of the rising flute artists of that time, Jessica Kahal performed with her high school choir, called a candlelight memorial. Paying tribute to the victims of Sept. 11terroristattacks, Kahal chose to perform on her all-time favorite “Danny Boy” for her solo flute performance. Besides her, the combined choirs too gave heart-touching performances on “America the Beautiful” and “This Is My Country” that were “Varsity Voices” in

The event took place in the school’s amphitheater and not only included emotional musical performances by the students but also had many of them speak about their recollections of the September 11th attacks. Later, Jessica Kahal also went on tour with her high school choir to perform in different parts of the country. Her musical tours to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia are however the most special to her.
