On-Line Meal Booking System For The Campus Caif I propose a VOIP based meal booking system that user’s can make use of for making meal bookings on campus or for a n enterprise offering catering services to its staff. The system requires that user’s register first on line, specifying the mode of payment and the building in which delivery is to be taken. For simplicity, students accounts can be debited after a transaction. Authentication parameters also need to be set. Users merely dial a number and an IVR takes them through authentication phase where users enter a user name and password, once authenticated (through AGI), users proceed to select a meal via an IVR and stating when they require delivery for the meal. An AGI script them takes these parameters and submits the requests to a database. The AGI script returns a message to the user stating wether the request has gone through and states the cost, the meal and the time - with option to undo the booking.

  3. Features of Proposed System Web interface that allows users to specify payment method and location(building). On-line database that keeps track of meal booking. System developed can have flexibility to state how soon a delivery can be made depending on location and meal type in the case of immediate orders. System must also allow for flexibility to handle meal cancellations before a specified period. An e-mail can be sent to a user reminding him/her that a meal booking was made for that time.

  4. Advantages of Proposed system Problem with fast food outlets They are slow-often users don’t have time to wait !! Therefore this system offers Simple IVR menu allows for simple, cost effective and clear user interaction. Allows for greater efficiency on the part of the service provider-meals can be made beforehand and avoid congestion at peak hours. Better profits and client satisfaction.
