Allen Yuan 2nd in the written competition and was a semifinalist in the countdown round at the 2007 MATHCOUNTS National Competition (in middle school) Invited to the Math Olympiad Summer Program in 2008, 2009, and 2010 First on the USA Math Olympiad in 2010 Silver medals at the 2010 Romanian Master in Mathematics in Bucharest and at the 2010 International Mathematics Olympiad in Astana, Kazakhstan.  Qualifying twice for the US Physics Team silver medal at the 2010 International Olympiad in Linguistics in Stockholm, Sweden He was the Gold Medal winner of the Eastman International Piano Competition, receiving $5000 and a 4-year full scholarship to the Eastman School of Music.  Finalist in the YoungARTS program and a semifinalist in the Presidential Scholars program in both arts and academics.  Publish the paper "Linearly Many Faults in (n,k)-star Graphs."  The project won 4th place nationally at the Siemens Competition and 1st place in Mathematics at the International Science and Engineering Fair. Allen Yuan plans to attend Harvard University to study mathematics.
