  3. Le guerre persiane 499-479 a.C. Cause: Mileto ,polis della Ionia, si ribella ai Persiani. La città viene distrutta ei persiani attaccano Atene che l’aveva aiutata, ma Atene vince contro i persiani. Dopo alcuni anni i persiani invadono la Grecia, le polis si uniscono e sconfiggono definitivamente i Persiani
