  1. Big Difference Between Delrin Versus Acetal Flat Plate This is the info I discovered about mechanical plastic materials. There's a bunch of highly rated Performance Plastics. Many have a combination of applications, including wear applications, impact resistance, FDA approval and even implant grades. I have machined a lot of types, but my prefered material is Copolymer Acetal. First, all Dupont Delrin is Acetal( POM ), but not all Acetal is Delrin. All Fords are vehicles, but not autos are Fords. The Acetal is the generic identifier for the resin, and not all Acetal is Dupont Delrin.
