  24. Relatives Participating in MME Testing • Key MME Staff have access to secure test materials prior to testing • Test Supervisor / Back-up Supervisor / TAC may notbe related to anyexaminee taking the MME in 2010 anywhere in Michigan. 24

  25. Relatives Participating in MME Testing Relatives are defined as: • Children / Step-children • Grandchildren • Nieces / Nephews • Siblings • In-laws • Spouses • Persons under your guardianship 25

  26. Athletic Coaches • For Accommodated Testing – may not serve as the Test Accommodations Coordinator • For Standard Time and Accommodations testing – may not serve as a Room Supervisor – in any one-on-one situation where student athletes are testing. 26

  27. MME Staffing • Room Supervisors and Proctors may not assist in a room where any relative is being tested 27

  34. Required MME Training Workshops –who must attend • ALLnewTest Supervisors, Back-up Test Supervisors, and Test Accommodations Coordinators are required to attend • ONLY for “Named” Test Staff • Ideally, testing staff from each school will attend the same workshop session. 34

  43. Assessment Sitesand Facilities • Same requirements for Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 • Preferred site is in a quiet wing of the high school • Off-site administration • Each site must be approved by ACT • by December 18, 2009 43

  46. Who Tests in Spring 2010? • Grade 11 – All students • Only two exceptions: • student who is taking the MI-Access • Student retained/reclassified as Grade 11 who has valid MME scores in all subjects (PL 1, 2, 3, or 4) 46

  47. Who Tests in Spring 2010? • Grade 12 • Only eligible to test if: • First-time tester OR • Student who has an MME score of NA (not valid) in one or more subjects 47

  48. MME Subject Score – Not Valid No scale score or Performance Level • Nonstandard accommodation • Did not meet attemptedness • Prohibited Behavior • Misadministration • Missing Test Form number 48

  49. Who Tests in Spring 2010? • Grade 12 • Student eligible to take MME is not yet eligible for Michigan Promise • Student must take complete MME to become eligible for Michigan Promise 49

  50. Who Tests in Spring 2010? • School responsibility • Notify student and parent/guardian of Spring 2010 MME test eligibility and Michigan Promise ineligibility if not tested 50
