Mission and Vision • The mission of the Foundation is to advance excellence in healthcare through the support of education and research in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging by provision of grants and awards. • The vision of the Foundation is to be an effective fund-raising organization, primarily in support of the strategic plan of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, Inc. (“SNM”).

  11. ERF Bylaws Committee • Currently an ad hoc committee • Will be added to Bylaws as a standing committee • Purpose- to advise the BOD on needed changes to the Bylaws and to prepare amendments to the Bylaws • Chair- Lynne Roy

ERF Cassen Committee • Purpose • To advise on investment and maintenance of the Cassen Fund • Review applications of candidates for Cassen Prize and make recommendation to BOD • Membership • President • Treasurer • Executor of Cassen Estate • Chair, SNM Awards committee • Three appointed by the President

  13. Cassen Postdoctoral Fellowship Committee • Purpose • To review applications for the Cassen postdoctoral fellowships and to recommend awards to the ERF BOD. • Other duties as assigned • Membership • Chair must be a basic scientist • Three additional members

  14. Development Committee • Purpose • Develop list of nominees for director and officer positions • Provide for orientation, training and development of BOD members • Membership • Chair- Vice President • At least three other members

  15. Finance Committee • Purpose • Report on the financial affairs, assets and liabilities at each BOD meeting • Recommend long-term financial policy • Recommend investment strategy • Present an annual review at the Annual meeting of the BOD • Report audit findings to the BOD
