  1. 5 Tips to Tackle SAT Writing SAT is a kind of entrance exam used by colleges all over the USA. SAT was originally adapted from the army IQ test which was very essential in order to join the army. SAT is a standardized test which shows if a student is genuinely ready for colleges and universities. SAT examination usually consists of four different segments and an optional essay section. There are many online classes available online which can help us to make preparations for SAT examination. While preparing for SAT we should keep some prime points in our mind. Some important SAT essay tips and SAT reading tips are given below: ➢Read the questions and simultaneously answer them: Students appearing for the SAT examination approximately get 48 seconds to answer each question, thus, it is very essential for a student to mark the answers while reading the questions.The SAT writing section consists of various MCQ type questions. The student should try to understand the main idea and goal of the passage. Understanding the pattern and writing style is also very significant as it helps the student to figure out the contrast of the verse. ➢Interpreting the SAT scoring system: The final score of SAT examination banks on the determination as well as the execution plan of the student. The score reflects the control that the student has over the language. The essay is checked by two readers who critically analyse it and give their own scores. Then both of their scores are added up together to form the final score. The average score of the SAT essay is 14 out of 24, which is pretty satisfactory for most students. ➢Starting with a proper blueprint: After reading the passage scrupulously, it is very essential for the student to develop a rough outline in his/her mind. Mapping out the different portions is very important. A strong outline helps in structuring and connecting the essay. There should be a clear-cut connection between the different segments of the essay. Students can also take help from the SAT essay examplesavailable online. ➢Concrete Introduction and conclusion: A solid introduction is very much necessary as it helps the student to form the outline. The introduction introduces the reader to the essay and it helps in forming an image in the reader’s mind

For most students,“Control over language” is an area that takes a long time to develop. A student should not repeat his/her sentences as it makes the essay very much repetitive. Students should choose their words very precisely. A student should not use first-person statements as it makes the essay look informal. While writing the essay the student should show his/her collection of vocabulary.
