  2. Background • Project: Strengthening ICT Training and Research Capacity in the Four Public Universities in Uganda • 2006-2010 • Makerere, Kyambogo, Gulu & Mbarara • Groningen, Nijmegen &Eindhoven

  3. Opportunities for Graduate Study • 10 fellowships to study toward Dutch degrees (3 yr. NL, 1 yr. Uganda) • Participation in active research groups • Assistance with bureaucracy, housing • €1.075/month, researchcosts • 20 fellowships to study toward Ugandan degrees (3 yr. Uganda, 3 2-month visits NL)

  5. Steps • Seek good partners, project plan that fits in existing research lines • Application will require usual docs • Letter of motivation, CV, transcripts, two letters of reference, project proposal • Interviews in August • Visit of all 30 candidates around Oct./Nov.
