  2. House of Burgesses • The Revolution was strictly occurring in Boston because of all the shipping. • The House of Burgesses met in Virginia. • Patrick Henry delivered his famous quote, “Give me liberty, or give me death.” • He convinced Virginia to join in the cause.

  3. Samuel Adams • Founded the Sons of Liberty • A big leader in the American Revolution

  4. Paul Revere-The Midnight Right • April 18, 1775 • 700 soldiers marched from Boston to Concord. • Patriot militias had been storing weapons in Concord. The British soldiers were going to destroy their supplies. • Through observation, Paul Revere suspected something was going on, so the colonists hid the supplies.

  5. The Shot Heard Round the World • “At 5 a.m. on April 19, William Diamond began to beat his drum.” This was the warning for the minutemen. • The start of the Revolution. • Liberty Kids Video
