My Life. My Birth. I was born on March 23 rd . I was born in Wisconsin. It was a very cold and snowy night. My Childhood Years. I took tap dancing lessons for about two years. I was a Brownie and a Girl Scout. I enjoyed collecting stamps. My Junior High Years.

  2. My Birth • I was born on March 23rd. • I was born in Wisconsin. • It was a very cold and snowy night.

  3. My Childhood Years • I took tap dancing lessons for about two years. • I was a Brownie and a Girl Scout. • I enjoyed collecting stamps.

  4. My Junior High Years • I attended two junior high schools. They were in Milwaukee and Chicago. • I was a violinist in the orchestra. • I won the Language Arts Award as an eighth grader.

  5. My High School Years • I attended two high schools. They were in Chicago and Detroit. • I continued to play the violin in the orchestra. • I won a four year academic scholarship to Western Michigan University.

  6. My College Years • I attended Western Michigan University. • I have three majors: Mathematics, English, and Education. • I was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Kappa Delta Pi. • .

  7. My Teaching Years • I have been teaching for thirty-fouryears. • I have taught first, second, and third grades plus a special reading class. • I have taught at four different schools.

  8. My Academic Beliefs • If you believe, you will achieve. • Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.* • Writing is simply talking with a pencil. *Sir Richard Steele
