West Morris Mendham HS Two Ways To Participate In The IB Program Option A: The Diploma Program • Participate in and complete internal/external assessments for six IB courses: • 3 (or not more than 4) Higher Level courses • 3 (or 2) Standard Level courses • Complete Theory of Knowledge (TOK) • Submit an original Extended Essay • Complete a Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) Plan

  21. West Morris Mendham HS Two Ways To Participate In The IB Program Option B: Individual Subject Certificates • All students are invited to participate in IB classes. A non-diploma student participating in an IB class completes all internal and external assessments for that course. Therefore, it is strongly suggested that student should sit for the IB exam.

  22. West Morris Mendham HS Reminders: • Tell your parents about Curriculum Night and bring your Program of Studies! • Complete the scheduling form with your parents, based on teacher recommendations, prior to your appointment. • Be sure to include alternates for elective courses. • Remember to use semester alternates for semester courses and full year alternates for full year courses. • Student and parent must sign the selection form.
