  3. Vocabulary • A circle is the set of all points (x,y) in a plane that are equidistant from a fixed point, called the center of the circle. The distance r between the center and any point (x,y) on the circle is the radius. The standard form of the equation of a circle with center at (0,0) and radius r

  4. Standard for of the equation of a parabola with vertex (0,0) is as follows: • Graph x2 = 25 – y2 • Steps: • Rewrite the equation • Identify the center and radius • Sketch the circle
