  3. Summary by Marley A farmer and his son went off to the marketplace with their donkey behind them. It was a nice day and they were all happy. They saw and old woman who said the boy should ride the donkey. He did not want to but he got on to make the old woman happy. Then they met some people who said, the dad should ride the donkey so he got on and the son got off. Then they met the shopkeeper who said they should both ride. Next they met the townspeople who said they were selfish fools and they should carry the donkey. They found a stout pole and rope and then they tied the donkey upside down, but the donkey did not like this .The donkey got freaked out and flung off into the water and drown . They should not have listened to anyone else and they would have been happy.
