  2. How we celebrate • People have parties at home or in pubs • At midnight, we put on the television or radio to hear the bells of Big Ben in London strike 12 o’clock • Then we sing a song called Auld Lang Syne – that’s Scottish for old time sake, we link arms and sing and drink champagne!

  3. London or Scotland? • If you want to have a real party, you can go to London or Scotland for New Year!
