  1. Marine Biology By: Brenda Lloyd

  2. Best Part of This Job • The best part of this job is probably all the time I would get to spend near the water.

  3. Why I Want to be a Marine Biologist • I want to be a Marine Biologist because even as a child I’ve always had an interest in marine wildlife. The aquatic life just fascinates me.

  4. Average Salary • The average salary of a Marine Biologist is $40,000 to $70,000. • $40,000 being the maximum salary for someone with a Bachelors Degree.

  5. What is a Marine Biologist • A Marine Biologist is someone who studies the aquatic life. It doesn’t necessarily have to be in the ocean either.

  6. Goals • My goals for marine biology are to live close to the coast and do research in a laboratory. Although I love the water, and SCUBA diving would be great, I want to know what is found. So I’d much rather be in a Lab doing research.

  7. Job Outlook • In the future, I want to become a successful Marine Biologist. The salary may not be as high as some people would like, but when I’m older I want a career, not just a job that I have to put up with.

  8. Summary • Marine biology is an interesting career. It’s full of adventure and fun. When I graduate, I do intend to go to college and major in Marine Biology and Wildlife. Not just because I need to, but because I want to.
