  1. Marine biology TREVOR ABNEY

  2. What is marine biology? Marine biology is the scientific study of organisms in the OCEAN or other large bodies of water. Given that in BIOLOGY many PHYLA families and GENERA have some species that live in the SEA and others that live on land, marine biology classifies species based on the ENVIRONMENT rather than on TAXONOMY. Marine biology differs from MARINE ECOLOGY as marine ecology is focused on how organisms interact with each other and the environment, and BIOLOGY is the study of the organisms themselves.

  3. Where would I get this degree? When I go to college to major in marine biology I will either be attending Texas A&M Galveston or University Pacific of Hawaii. The top 2 marine biology schools in are nation. It will take me 6 years to earn a masters in marine biology. Which in my opinion is too long.. Texas A&M Galveston University pacific of Hawaii.

  4. Where would I work? My goal after I graduate with my marine biology degree is to work in Hawaii at one of the worlds largest marine biology labs. But I could also work at one of the sea world parks as a marine biologist and work and take care of all the animals. Once I start working I could make any where from 35,000 dollars a year to 43,000 dollars a year. But after about 3 to 5 years of working I could make anywhere from 110,000 dollars a year to 165,000 dollars a year all depending on where I work and how good of a marine biologist I become.
