  2. Location • Meidan Emam is located in Esfahan Iran.

  3. Built • Meidan Emam was built in the beginning of the 17th century and is still standing today.

  4. Reason it was built • Built by Shah Abbas the 1st and was built to worship Islam.

  5. Physical Features • Height of doorway:48 meters high and 27 meters wide. • Color: Mostly a turquoise color with gold and silver plated words and shapes.

  6. Opinions and Facts • Some people say it is the most beautiful place in the world. Others say it is just like any old building they'd seen. It is surrounded by 4 different buildings, Masjede Shah , Masjede Sheykh Lotfollah , Aali Ghapoo Palace , and the Gheysariye Bazaar.
