International Science for the Benefit of Society

HOW – through collaborative research projects

  • Identifying and addressing major issues of importance to science and society
  • Promoting the participation of all scientists in the international scientific endeavour
  • Creating international, continental and regional networks of excellence - interaction amongst scientists/insti/gov
  • Fostering regional networks of scientists & institutions to promote research & education– exchange of information, expertise, enhances regional/continental integration
  • Create synergies and areas of collaboration between scientists, scientific/academic institutions and agencies – (duplication of activities, competition on financial)
