  5. Begin with cash. Make investments by buying and selling shares of companies Place an order to buy or sell shares

  6. Market Order BUY 1000 shares of Illinois Tool Works 1000 ITW Use Search Company to find the ticker symbol for the company you want. Save

  7. Limit Order Buy 100 shares of Caterpillarbut do not pay more than $67per share. Keep trying until the close on February 1st

  8. International Order Use Search Company to find the ticker symbol for companies that trade on a specific exchange.

  9. Limit order on Caterpillar All orders are listed in the ORDERS tab until executed Market Order on Illinois Tool Works You can edit or cancel an order until 3pm (Central Time) when the market closes

  11. Portfolio Tab Click on the ticker symbol to open up a window with the Yahoo Finance quote. The Portfolio Tab now shows shares of Illinois Tool Works and cash. Click to generate a portfolio statement.
