  2. Bellringer 2/11 • Complete the prompt creatively using 3 indefinite pronouns, an oxymoron, and assonance. • “The murderer was never caught and 50 years later…” • Please turn in pronoun homework and bring back Poe questions for quick check (Cask of Amontillado)

  3. Bellringer 2/12 • Poe Quiz today- Vocab. and content. • Spread desks apart (try your best to separate). Put all electronic devices on silent…and place these in box on back table that says Lollipop Land.

  4. Bellringer 2/13 • What is the most dangerous game you have ever played? What made it so dangerous? How did you feel when playing it? What is the most dangerous game you can think of? • Make sure that you have your literature books today. • Bring back your pronoun and TMDG homework for a quick check. We will go over this towards the end of the block.

  5. Bellringer 2/14 • Pronouns Quiz today- Spread desks apart. Put all electronic devices on silent…and place these in box on back table or hanging organizer. • PLEASE TURN IN YOUR POE MASKS by the end of the block- Staple rubric to mask or write your name on rubric and turn in- you can tear these from the packet. • The name of your literary device and a description of your symbols/color choice used should be on the back of your mask- basically tell me why you chose what you chose.

  6. Bellringer 2/15 • Please turn in Anthem packets. (pg 2 terms, questions chap 8-end, and after reading Q’s) • Do not turn in bellringers this week…I will collect 2 weeks worth next Friday. • Complete the prompt creatively (use hyperbole, idiom, cliché, and a pun—underline and label each) • “It was Valentine’s day and Cupid was nowhere to be found…”
