  5. WORLD WATER DAY CELEBRATIONS • Collaborate with PUB in-charge of Jurong Lake Guiding • Create a booklet for Jurong Lake guiding • Could also be in-charged of setting up exhibitions during WWD EVENTS-NATURE GUIDING

  6. Organize Learning journeys and guiding, and plan the activities, timeline and create guiding booklet etc • Get to plan other Learning journeys for the CCA, eg Zoo, river safari • Learning journey for the green reps during camp and IDB  OIC: Siying Join Me!!! EVENTS-NATURE GUIDING

  7. What will you be doing? • Plan activities for each level (Years 1-6) • Involve other CCA members in the executing of activities A WONDERFUL CHANCE TO PLAN A SCHOOL EVENT FOR YOUR SCHOOLMATES! Overall IC: Xiang Yun When? 21ST April- 25TH APRIL EVENTS-YED WEEK

  8. Activities according to themes like energy conservation, water management, animal conservation • Talks, Hands-on activities • Green Fiesta where students sell their handmade eco-products EVENTS-YED WEEK

  9. WHAT WILL YOU HAVE TO DO? • 1 Day camp 19th March Wed • In-charged of planning the schedule for the whole camp including games, activities and food/drinks etc • Will have to do recce trips! EVENTS-ENVIRONMENTAL CAMP

  10. WHO? • Y1-2 Greenreps (compulsory) • Y3-5 Greenreps (optional) • New ENSOC members OIC: Avril and Xin Yi EVENTS-ENVIRONMENTAL CAMP

Recycling duties every month • Newspaper, can tab, ink cartridges, plastic bottles, tetrapaks collection • IMPORTANT: recycling will be conducted on the last Thursday of every month and will be counted as attending CCA (if on recycling duty and fulfil 2hrs, you do not need to stay until 6pm for normal cca timing) • Recycling duties during school events • Setting up bins for people to throw away plastic bottles and tetrapaks IN-HOUSE-RECYCLING

  14. Committee members will also be organizing the recycling outreach • WHEN: May • Will be doing: • Selecting the blocks for collection • Choosing collection points between blocks • Assigning facils to each class to lead the class and MUCH MORE OIC: Jie Ran IN HOUSE-RECYCLING

  15. Shrub garden duties • Maintenance of shrub garden • Pond duties • Maintenance of the pond • IMPORTANT: to be done on the last Thursday of every month during CCA session • In-charged of planting 1 tree sapling on IDB IN-HOUSE-FLORA AND FAUNA

Encourage pupils to signup for recruitment through • Wordpressand Facebook Page • Ask.fm • TV/slideshows • Monthly newsletters/posters about the environment • To educate the student population about the environment • Different themes/topics for each moth • Conducted during the last Thursday of every month • Working with various event comm to come up with poster to advertise events, design CCA T-shirt, CCA Badge and Wall mural/ achievement IN-HOUSE-PUBLICITY OIC: Wanzhyi
