  1. JOB APPLICATION • Fill out all that you can. • Highlight/mark what you do not know how to fill out, or cannot fill out?

  2. Elevator Speech • An elevator pitch, elevator speech, or elevator statement is a short summary used to quickly and simply define a person, profession, product, service, organization or event and its value proposition. • The name "elevator pitch" reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately thirty seconds to two minutes. • The term itself comes from a scenario of an accidental meeting with someone important in the elevator. If the conversation inside the elevator in those few seconds is interesting and value adding, the conversation will continue after the elevator ride or end in exchange of business card or a scheduled meeting

  3. Elevator Speech Assignment Knowledge Questions answer the following questions related to your personal elevator speech: • Who is your target audience? Be specific about the demographics of this audience. • What are your key strengths? • What adjectives come to mind to describe you? • What is it you are trying to ʹsellʹ or let others know about you? • Why are you interested in the company or industry the person represents? Outline Questions • On the same paper answer these questions: • Who am I? • What do I offer? • What problem is solved? • What are the main contributions I can make? • What should the listener do as a result of hearing this?
