USPS Fiscal Year Releases and Updates June 6,2014
DecemberRelease • Tax Tables were updated to include 2014 tax information from IRS • Afford program has been added under USPS, USPS_RPT, AFFORD. This report utilizes the retire hours to track employees based on weekly or monthly preference to assist with ACA compliance. Document on website to help with option.
March Release • Show accrued wages separately on payroll notices. If the Check stub desc on jobscn is blank, it will list reg and acc on payroll notice.
Added new SERS/STRS New Hires • SERSHIRE – SERS New employee submission Tape and Report. • STRSHIRE – New Employee Submission Tape & Report • STRSHSEND – This will send new STRS New Employee Submission File to STRS
MarchRelease Cont’d. • SERSREG: Show employees with a Y and R in new employee section at bottom of SERSREG report.
March Release cont’d • SURCHG amount has been updated to 20,250.00 for FY 2014. • Only allow deposit type of 22 for HSA deductions • SERSREG/STRSMonth will flip New Employee flag on 400/450 record to N. • UPDCAL_CUR/FUT – Give Warning message for no retire hours with MIS, DCK,SHP,IRR,BCK,or TRM pay types.
May Release • Perdet - Add prompt to exclude employees after prompt to exclude 8xx position codes. • AUDRPT – Allow concealed employees to be searched by name or employee id. • Updated DEDSCN to allow deposit type 22 and 32 for HSA. • STRS now counting Holiday as a work day.
