Sample First Semester Course Scheduling Guide or “Menu Sheet” • Designed for your student based upon major and test scores • Lists classes that should be scheduled first followed by additional elective courses that are required for each degree program • Reminds students that no more than one math and one science course should be scheduled in the first semester.

  8. Prerequisite or Corequisite • First semester course placement is based upon ACT or SAT scores • Prerequisite – a course is required to be completed prior to enrollment • Corequisite – a course can be taken together with other specified course
