TDPS Wireless v1.7.1815 Enhancements

  2. Enhancements • E1 – Qualcomm webservice integration • E2 – Client connection • E3 – Prevent IPilots from updating actual timestamps

  3. Bugs • B1 – Cannot generate idle report • B2 – Cannot generate speed report • B3 – Productlink issue

  4. E1 – Qualcomm Integration • No longer require RIWeb client to be active. • Controlled by a scheduled thread. • Odometer will be populated. • See documentation for more details.

  5. E2 – Client Connection • Specify sql user for client connection • Registry setting – ClientSQLUser • Default is TDPSWirelessClient • Allows multiple instances of server to connect to one sql server

  6. E3 – IPilot timestamps • Before • Ipilot status changes are updating the actual start and end time in field service table. • Now • Prevent updating the field service table. • Updates are logged in wireless table.

  7. B1 – Idle Report Error • Bug • Report throws error when non-vehicleID grouping is selected. • Caused by average duration field erroring out. • Only calculates for vehicleID grouping • Fix • Dynamically calculate the average duration depending on what grouping is selected.

  8. B2 – Speed Report Error • Bug • Speed report throws an error • Caused by conversion error • Fix • Only filter data that have valid values so conversion error is not thrown.

  9. B3 - Product Link issue • Require customer to set up account • Need username, password, webservice link • Automated import • Machines that have productlinks will automatically be created • Product link serial number will be associated with the machine. • System settings • EMWebServiceUserName, EMWebServicePassword, EMWebServiceURL, ProductLinkWebserviceVersion

  10. B3 – Product link Issue • Bug • Duplicate machines after importing • Fix • Updates if a machine exists already

  11. Service Pack Requirement • This build requires the Microsoft WSE 2.0 service pack 3. • The service pack is available here: \\iis2\Website_Downloads\TDPSWireless\Microsoft WSE 2.0 SP3.msi
