  2. Plot Plot What happened in the beginning of the book? In the beginning of the book Mrs. Frizzles class was learning about animal habitats. Then Mrs. Frizzle said they were going to do something new. Everyone was excited. What happened in the middle of the book? In the middle of the book Mrs. Frizzle gave out a homework assignment to find a rock and bring it in. Everyone made excuses. What happened at the end of the book?   3. Setting Setting is where and when the story takes place. The settings are at school, inside the earth, and the school parking lot. The most important is inside the earth. Place Book Cover Image Here. Return to Homepage

  4. Characters Write the name of each main character and a sentence that tells about them. Put each character on a new line. The main character is Mrs. Frizzle, because Mrs. Frizzle controls the whole field trip. Return to Homepage

  5. Genre What genre is your book? Fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction, horror, humor, mythology, realistic fiction, adventure? Why did you choose that genre? Give an example from the book that supports the genre you chose. This book is defiantly fiction, because a bus can’t fly and you can’t go inside the earth. Return to Homepage

  6. Vocabulary Write any words that were unfamiliar to you (or a word you think may be difficult for another student) as you were reading the book. Include the definition of the word.
