  2. Habit 1 – Be ProactiveYou Are in Charge • I am a responsible person • I take initiative • I choose my actions, attitudes and moods • I do not blame other for my actions • I do the right things without being asked (even when no one is looking)

  3. Habit 2 – Begin With the End in MindHave a Plan • I plan ahead to set goals • I do things that have meaning and make a difference • I contribute • I am an important part of my classroom • I look for ways to be a good citizen

  4. Habit 3 – Put First Things FirstWork First Then Play • I set priorities • I make a schedule and follow my plan • I am discipline and organized • I spend time on important things (this means I say no to things I should not do)

  5. Habit 4 – Think Win WinEveryone Can Win • I balance courage for getting what I want with consideration for what other want • I care how others feel • When conflict arises I look for options to avoid fighting

  6. Habit 5 – Seek First to Understand Then To Be UnderstoodListen Before You Talk • I listen to other people’s ideas and feelings • I try to see things from other’s point of view • I listen to others before interrupting • I am confident in expressing my ideas • I look people in the eyes when talking

  7. Habit 6 – SynergizeTogether is Better • I value people’s strength and learn from them • I get along with others even people different than me • I work well in groups • I seek out other people’s ideas (two heads are better than one) • I am HUMBLE

  8. Habit 7 – Sharpen the SawBalance Feels Best • I take care of my body by exercising, eating right and getting sleep • I spend time with family and friends • I learn in lots of way and places not just school • I find meaningful ways to help others
