Sanjeev Jain had ?ve warrants issued against him, including   four non-bailable ones and a ?fth bailable warrant. The warrants against Jain were issued in connection with the execution of application No.83 of 2022, related to consumer complaint no. 2489 of 2017, titled “Rajat Babbar & Anr Vs Ms. Parshwanath Developers Pvt Ltd.” by the Joint Registrar of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Delhi. The Delhi police received the information that Sanjeev Jain was at his Gurugram DLF Phase 2 house, following which they arrived at his residence to arrest him. However, by then, Jain had left for Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport. The STF team chased him from there. What followed was a cat-and-mouse game between Delhi Police and Sanjeev Jain resulting in a 60 kilometers high-speed chase. Jain managed to reach the airport to escape, but the Delhi police caught on to him just in time and made the arrest. On Sunday, Sanjeev Jain was presented before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Surendra Choudhary said in a statement that Sanjeev Jain was arrested over ?ve pending warrants, four of which are non-bailable, and one bailable warrant issued against him over his inability to appear before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. The warrants were issued in connection with a case ?led by Rajat Babbar.  A non-bailable warrant against Sanjeev Jain, by the Joint Registrar of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission on July 18, 2024. A complaint was ?led against Sanjeev Jain in the year 2017 by the Consumer Commission.
