  1. U.S. Global Health Funding for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), FY 2004-FY 2015 In Millions NOTES: FY 2013 includes the effects of sequestration. FY 2014 is a preliminary estimate. FY 2015 is the President’s Budget Request. Some FY 2014 funding for TB programs at USAID (between $8 and $20 million in prior years) is not yet known. PEPFAR was created in 2003 and funding began in FY 2004. PEPFAR includes funding for HIV, TB, and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
