Indian National Olympiad Exam • Stage 1:National Standard Examinations (NSEs) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, Junior Science organized by IAPT. • Stage 2: is the Indian National Olympiad (INO) examinations. The eligible students from stage one can participate in INO in respective subjects.  • Stage 3: is the Orientation Cum Selection Camps (OCSC). For these camps, about 35 students in each subject will be selected from INO on performance basis. • Stage 4: These students will have a Pre Departure Training (PDT) for two weeks. • Stage 5: Participation in International Olympiad (IO) of the selected students. • Conducted by: Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR), Mumbai • Funded by: Government of India - DAE, DST, MHRD

Common Application Mistakes • Application submitted post deadline • Documents not available as per guideline • Bank account issues • Signature issue (Students, Parents, Institute etc) • Incomplete form • Incorrect postal, email address & contact number • CSS Scholarship: • 1181 applications disqualified due to minor form mistakes • Loss: ₹ 30,000 – 70,000 scholarship • INSPIRE Scholarship: • 4965 students’ scholarship forfeited due to bank account issue . • Loss: ₹ 2.4 L scholarship
