Year 8 Small Cakes
Ingredients • 100g / 4oz self raising flour • 75g / 3oz caster sugar • 50g / 2oz soft margarine • 1 egg 1 bun tray 12 paper cases You will also need:
Method • Light oven Gas 4 / 180°C. 2. Place bun cases in to your bun tray
3. Cream margarine and sugar until soft and light. It should look like this.
4. Crack egg into measuring jug and beat lightly with a fork.
6. Sieve flour then gently fold into the mixture using a metal spoon.
7. Your mixture should be a good dropping consistency. 8. Divide evenly between your bun cases using a teaspoon and a knife.
9. Bake for 15-20 mins until firm and golden. Cool on a wire rack.
