  2. A Dozen Photo Shop Ideas to Incorporate Into Your Curriculum

  3. 1. A digital collage about a writer or artist or historical figure, shown in his or her environment to show the life and times of the person. 2. CD cover for such ideas as the music of Charles Dickens' time, the Civil War, The Sounds of Machinery (Ag/Tech Ed), The Sounds of Nature (Biology/Environmental Sci), etc.  3. Movie poster for a work of literature made into a film. 4. A scientific process, e.g. photosynthesis, made into musical theater, a movie, an opera--- create a poster or flyer for this production.  Ex:  Photosynthesis- Starring Chlorophyll!  5. Ag Ed- poster for a horse show, Goshen Fair, etc. 6. Design a postcard from an historical site-- e.g. Hannibal, Mo.  Use fonts appropriate to the subject/time period and at least 4 different images. 

  4. 7. Magazine cover- ex:  People Magazine cover showing Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein. 8. A cooking magazine cover- e.g. Tiny Tim's Christmas dinner; Old Man and the Sea: Seafood Recipes.  Ag Ed:  Recipes with Edible Flowers 9.  A magazine advertisement for such things as the Trebuchet, Louis Pasture’s Penicillin, River Boat Rides (Mark Twain), The Magic of Pi or Garden Fresh Veggies from Ag Ed.  Possibilities are endless. 10. Original poetry laid out as a part of a collage of images that are representative of it.  The poetry can be about anything from The Periodic Tables to What Math Means to Me to the Taste of Fine Cooking. 11. Logos for literally anything – ex: The work of William Shakespeare, geometry or proportions, the Scientific Method, and any event from history.  Kids come up with some very funny and entertaining ideas! 12. Travel brochures for such things as: Journey Through the Human Body, Visit the Deep South During the Antebellum Years, A Trip through the Metric System et al...
