  3. EV Implementation Group • Ensure consistency • Align with Staff Travel Plan & Sustainable Transport Team • Increased support within council • Opens up alternative funding streams

  4. Future Plans / Ambitions • Replace all appropriate cars with EV’s. • Expand fleet of small vans for Trades. • Increase city wide infrastructure. • Increase utilisation

  5. Building a Business Case • Vital in current climate for EV’s. • Cost v environmental benefits.

  6. Challenges • Lack of knowledge. • Taking a leap of faith. • Making the numbers work. • Additional workload. • Changing mindset

  7. Making it work • Identify suitable and realistic areas of use. • Tap into enthusiasm and opportunities. • Sharing evidence to wider market. • Joint focus on vehicles and infrastructure.
