  2. Final Expenditure Report - What’s New • New Look • Tracking carryover, revenues, and expenditures by funding category • Easier to read • Signatures on the first page • New submission protocol • Submitted to: DYSGrantsreporting@DYS.Ohio.gov

  3. Tracking Carryover, Revenue, and ExpendituresPage 1 • Court enters FY 2017 carryover amounts for each Funding Category. • Court enters FY 2018 revenues received for each Funding Category. • This is onlyfor funds received from ODYS.

Tracking Carryover, Revenue, & ExpendituresPage 1 (Cont.) • Court enters the “Prepared By” information and signatures. • Remainder of the fields are calculated based upon information entered on pgs. 2 and 3. • REMEMBER by statute, the total carryover balance cannot exceed 25% of the court’s FY 2017 allocation amount.

  5. Page 2 • The first four columns are the same as the first four columns of the court’s approved Attachment A page 2. • Court will enter the total grant expenditures for FY 2018 by Budget Category. These totals should include any FY 2018 payments made after June 30, 2018. • Report will sort expenditures by Funding Category for page 1.

  6. Page 3 • No material changes from previous versions. • Court enters June 30, 2018 cash balance from the county auditor ledger. • Court enters any revenues received (deposited) from the department after June 30, 2018.

  7. Page 3 (Cont.) • Court enters any expenditures paid after June 30, 2018. • Any reimbursements or credits received from vendors should be recorded here as a negative amount. • Amounts populate to page 1.

  8. Report Submission • Financial Expenditure Final Report is due to the department by October 1, 2018 in PDF format ONLY • Reports are to be submitted to: DYSGrantsreporting@DYS.Ohio.gov Subject Line should read: Subject: County, FY18 Final Expenditure Report

  9. FY 2019 Fiscal status reports July – December 2018 Report – due 1/10/19 July 2018 – March 2019 Report – due 4/10/19

  10. 7/1/2018 Cash balance should be the same as the 6/30/18 balance from the fy 2018 final expenditure report. • Receipts should only include payments received from ODYS. • Expenditures should include any known report period expenses that will be paid after the date of the report. • Projected june 30, 2019 balance should be calculated by adding the july 1, 2018 balance and all actual and projected dys payments, minus the projected total fy 2019 expenditures.
