  1. 12 Angry Men Vocabulary Words Deliberation – careful consideration before a decision Prosecution– the institution and carrying on of legal proceedings against a person Plaintiff– a person who brings suit in a court Jury – a group of persons sworn to render a verdict Testimony - the statement of a witness under oath Trial- the determination of a person's guilt or innocence by due process of law Verdict- the finding of a jury given to the court concerning a matter submitted to their judgment first degree murder -the deliberate killing of another human being committed with malice or premeditation Unanimous- of one mind; in complete agreement; agreed Witness- to see, hear, or know by personal presence and perception Mandatory -permitting no option; not to be disregarded or modified Objection- a reason or argument offered in disagreement Evidence- data presented to a court or jury in proof of the facts in issue Premeditated-done deliberately; planned in advance Suit- a civil proceeding; lawsuit
