  5. Skills Required to use PowerPoint • Mouse • Graphics & word processing • Ability to organize your topic • Creativity in conveying your message • Willingness to click, click, and click again

  7. Parts of the PowerPoint Window • Menus • Toolbars • Right-click menus • Views • Slide • Outline • Sorter • Notes • Slide Show

  8. Each View Has a Purpose • Single Slide - layout slide • Outline - create presentation • Slide Sorter - reorganize presentation • Lecture Notes - not seen on screen • Slide Show - runs full screen • Use the buttons on the bottom of the PowerPoint window to change views.
