Major Goals and Programs Programs The PFC provides funding and coordinates volunteers for a number of programs designed to help our children learn outside of their normal curriculum while bringing the community together. • Art in Action • Grade Level Grants • Teacher Grants Other Programs & Events • Junior Achievement (K - 4th) • Box Tops • Family Math Night • Family Art Night • Family Movie Night • Halloween BOOooogie • Family Science Night

  6. Income and Fundraising • 2017-18 Opening Reserve: $55,000 Jog-a-thon breakdown • Boosterthon (Event Organizers): $2,000 + 35% of individual contributions + $4K for shirts

  7. Grants and Projects • Grade Level Grants Calculated @ $12 per student • DKA/K thru Grade 5 • Science Supplies • Shared Supplies • Teacher Grants @ $200 per class (*$500 for new teachers; $300 for transfers)

Volunteering We need you! • PFC Board Director At Large and Treasure 2 • JDS Front Office Copy Squad • 2 volunteers, weekly • Volunteers for jog-a-thon • Pep Rally: 2 volunteers daily - recess • Huddle : 5 volunteers - daily mornings • Activity Chairs - Chair for Halloween Booogie, Movie Night, Teacher Appreciation • General Volunteers Signup at www.doughertypfc.org Questions: E-mail-volunteers@doughertypfc.org

  13. Fundraisers • Jog-a-thon • 35 laps arounds a professionally designed fun-filled course • Annual • 65% of proceeds back to PFC • Dine-and-Donate • Local participating restaurants • Monthly • 10% to 20% of proceeds back to PFC • Spring Fundraiser
