  2. We have all been there; you have invited several friends over for a meal and you really want it to be the perfect evening. You have decided what you will be eating and have carefully chosen your cuts of meat from the butcher and your favorite dessert from the local deli. But suddenly it occurs to you that you have no idea what sort of wine you should be serving, where to buy it and how much you should be paying.

  3. You may think that the best way to refill your wine rack involves popping to your local supermarket or off licence and filling up your trolley. It may surprise you to learn that a better way to buy wine is to let your fingers do the walking and get onto the Internet. Online wine outlets are both easier and cheaper and certainly well worth trying out the next time you need wine for any occasion.

  4. Now, if your shipping boxes have been flattened, you will need to reassemble them and tape or staple the bottoms closed. 1 1/4 width heavy duty staples are usually used. If you do use staples it's generally a good idea to also use tape. If the items going into your boxes are heavy, use several overlapping strips of tape to ensure that the bottom will remain closed during the complete trip. If your items are fragile, wrap in paper or bubble wrap and place in the box. Bubble wrap is an inexpensive material to use, because it weighs less.

  5. Using general purpose, acrylic adhesive sealing tape at two or three inch widths is the acceptable practice used by professional shipping companies. It also will make your job easier and go more quickly if you use a hand-held Tape Gun. All tapes have different adhesive properties. Your application will determine which tape to choose.
