  2. About Me • This is my 6th year at NEMS • I have taught Geography every year • I went to Washington College in Kent Country • I have lived in California and Texas • I moved to Maryland about 12 years ago • I have two older brothers and 5 nieces • My family lives in Southern Delaware

  4. Why Geography Is Important

Class Procedures • Students are not assigned textbooks • They are available to borrow any time • Students will not have homework on a nightly basis • When we do, planners will be filled out and signed • Homework is usually to study for a quiz or complete in-class assignments • I usually do not sign if there is no homework • Students will complete a warmup every day • These are collected and graded

  6. Class Expectations • Do Your Best • Follow Directions • Treat Everyone With Respect

Ways That You Can Help • Organization • Notebooks are expected to be kept in order • They will be collected every marking period • Warmups • Studying for Tests or Quizzes • Study guides are sent home • Check PowerSchool and class website • mcduffie.wikispaces.com • Contact me if you need anything or have questions
