  2. KM Network Fax • Available for: KM-5035 KM-4035 Fax System (J) KM-3035 KM-4030 KM-3530 Fax System (F) KM-2530 • Device must have Print/Scan and NW Fax option installed

  3. How NW Fax Works • Transmission Function • Documents are sent via the LAN to as an image to the Print/Scan kit • Data is “transferred” to fax option where is transmitted to fax destinations • TX file is saved on Server Computer

  4. How NW Fax Works • Reception Function • Documents are sent to KM Multifunctional w/Fax • Documents are converted to PDF or TIFF data (Admin Choice) • Data is sent via the LAN to a Server Computer

  5. How NW Fax Works • Reception Function • RX File is saved on Server Computer • File can be delivered as e-mail attachment or NW Pop-up • Must set Advanced Delivery • Print may be turned on or off

  19. NW Fax Delivery • KM Network Fax allows various Advanced Delivery Settings in SFU • Subaddress • Sender Fax Number • Destination Number • Other

Subaddress • Subaddress is a method to notify people on the network that a NW fax has been received • Utilizes the Subaddress feature set on the TSI, as well as in the Scanner File Utility • Customer must have an SMTP server for network client notification • Up to 100 Subaddress boxes can be set

  21. Subaddress • From the TSI, Subaddress requires a password enabled • When a fax is received with a Subaddress it is first delivered to server • It is also stored in the Fax memory • Under “Application”, a client’s box can be accessed and printed

Other • “Other” is best defined as any document that is received that the Scanner File Utility cannot identify by Subaddress or Fax number. • This would be particularly helpful for any client who wishes to utilize the advanced delivery features but is concerned with any document that may “fall through the cracks”
