  2. When and where was he born? • Paul Revere was born in Boston, Massachusetts. • Nobody knows the exact date. • People think it was in December, 1734.

  3. What was his childhood like? • Paul had between 9 & 12 brothers and sisters. • Paul's father died in 1754.

  4. What as his family like? • Paul married Sarah Orne. • Sarah Orne died in 1754.

  5. What were his accomplishments? • When Paul was 19 he became a soldier. • Paul made a bell for King’s Chapel in Boston. • He commanded troops to war.

  6. Why was he famous? • He helped in the Boston Tea Party. • Paul was a war hero in the Revolutionary War. • Paul fought in the French and Indian War. • Paul rode around on a horse warning people the British were coming by sea.

  7. When did he die? Paul Revere died at the age of 83 on May 10, 1818.

  8. How is he remembered? • There is a statue of him in Boston. • There is a poem about him by Henry Wadsworth.

  9. Other interesting information • Paul was captured by British soldiers. • In 1801 Paul opened a copper rolling mill. • In1748 Paul went to work for his father’s shop.
