Startup Notification Report (SNR) • A periodic report issued by the responsible contractor which identifies future Readiness Reviews and provides recommendations. • Prepared by Contractor Line Management; Submitted to Local DOE/NNSA Contract Authority or AA. • Process, format, and content generally described within the Contractors or local DOE/NNSA directives or procedures. Nov 2006

  5. SNR Requirements • Submitted Periodically (DOE sets periodicity - recommended quarterly) • Must project ahead 1 year • Must report all newly identified startups • Must update previously reported events • Must be approved by DOE (Authorization Authority) • Must forward to CSO, PSO, LPSO, and EH Nov 2006

  6. SNR Contents • Content Recommendations: • Description of Facility/Program Work/Activity; • Reason for non-operation; • Date of last operation; • Proposed type of review; • Justification for review type selected; • Proposed Authorization Authority. • Don’t Start Until SNR is Approved! Nov 2006
