ECOLOGICAL DESIGN AND STANDARTISATION • Projects on maximum permissible emissions standards (MPE) of contaminants discharged into atmosphere. • Projects on maximum permissible discharge standards (MPD) of contamination substances into water sources. • Projects on industrial and consumption wastes formation standards • Ecological passports for enterprises. • Development of “Environmental Protection (EP)” and “Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)” to the projects of construction, reconstruction and enlargement of enterprises.

APPLIED ECOLOGY • Complex ecological programs. • Environment protection and response plans. • Analysis of environment protection activities compliance with legislation. • Reports according to 2TP-air, 2TP-water management, 3TP- wastes forms. • Calculation of payments for pollution\contamination. • Development of documents to obtain permits for special nature use. • Water supply and sewerage systems design. • Water supply and sewage treatment facilities design. • Heat supply, ventilation and air conditioning systems design. • Water consumption and water discharge balances.

Experience inecological design and standartisation To develop chapters “Environmental protection”, “Environmental Impact Assessment” our specialists perform standardization of contaminant emissions into atmosphere (MPE), contaminant discharges into water (MPD) and production & consumption wastes. Projects are performed in workmanlike manner by highly qualified professionals, who have extensive experience in the field of ecological design and norms. For the last 3 years our company executed approximately 100 projects in the field of ecological design and standardization.

Experience inecological design and standartisation MPE PROJECTS • CJSC “Intergas Central Asia”- MPE Projects are developed practically for entire Kazakhstan territory –Mangistau, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Almaty regions. • CJSC “KazTransOil”. West branch. • OJSC “Mangistaumunaygas, Production Department “Kalamkasmunaygas” – oil deposit. • OJSC “Tolkynneftegas” – gas condensate deposits- Tolkyn, Tabyl. • CJSC “JV Kazpolmunay” – oil, gas condensate deposit Borankol. • OJSC “Mangistaumunayzholdary” – deposits of non-metallic mineral resources. • State Utilities Enterprise “Vodokanal”, Atyrau For MPE regulation our specialists employ mathematical modeling of contaminants dispersion processes in ground layer. For the mentioned purposes company uses “Software system “Era”, version 1.7. Map documents are performed using GIS-technology ArcInfo, ArcGIS, MapInfo 9.0.

Experience inecological design and standartisation CHAPTERS “ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION (EP)” FOR PROJECTS: • LLP “TengizChevroil” –Industrial waste water injection into subsurface • OJSC “Mangistaumunayzholdary” – Bitumen storage for highways (with 500 tons capacity) construction • LLP “TengizChevroil” – Upgrade of Nitrogen&Oxygen Unit • LLP “TengizChevroil” – Calculation of oil reserves • LLP “Union Espanola de Explosives Kazakhstan” – Plant producing the matrix of water gel explosive agent RIOFLEX at “Nurkazgan” deposit in Karaganda oblast • OJSC “Mangistaumunaygas” –Sea Water Desalination Plant in Aktau • LLP “TengizChevroil” – “Medical and ecological investigations within the settlements – Kulsary city, Sarykamys village and Akkistogay village” – sections “Analysis of potential impact of production emissions on air basin quality in Zhylyoi district” and “Assessment of water management activity of Zhylyoi district”.

Experience in applied ecology • OJSC “Karachaganak Petroleum Company B.V.” – Water consumption and water discharge balance schemes for all facilities/sites. • LLP “TengizChevroil” – standardization of the pollutants in wastewaters for the project “Injection of the wastewaters into subsoil for TCO ” which eliminated penalty and extra payments for limit excess. • OJSC “Tolkynneftegas”, CJSC JV “Kazpolmunay” – Development of the documentation for obtaining natural resources use permit for 2004. • CJSC “Intergas Central Asia” – rendering support in development of documents for application to obtain natural resources use permit for 2005.

Project execution • Projects are executed in compliance with the procedures set forth in our Corporate Standard CS-11 • Project management is performed using the programs Microsoft Project and Prima Vera • Projects are developed by applying regulatory documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan and International standards • Customer’s special requirements are taken into account in the course of projects development.
