  5. Project Description • Simulate Hospital Management System. • HealthCare Professional, using iPhone will be able to: • Search for patient • View patient information • Edit patient information. 4 of 12

Functional Specifications • User must be able to login to system (with login ID and password). • Directed to home page. • Home page will perform patient search and add patient functions. • Search based on patient’s last name or patient ID • From search result user is able to click on patient record to view patient’s profile page. • Patient profile can be viewed in “read only” format. • Patient profile can be edited and saved. 6 of 12

Technical Specifications • VPN Connection to encrypt patient information. • 6 Pages to Interface (Login, Home, Search Results, View Patient, Edit Patient, Logoff) • To secure patient information: • Data stored on MS SQL database will be encrypted using AES. • Data encrypted and decrypted on IIS ASPX server. 7 of 12
