Background • Purpose • The purpose of the project was to create a guide for adult educators on dealing with challenges in their work. • Objectives • To strengthen adults key competences and recognition of adults informal and non-formal learning • To support adult education and learning to meet the challenges of modern citizenship, with special focus on an adult teacher education and multiculturalism.

  3. Duration 2 years (2012-2014) The project was initiated and coordinated by Kedainiai Adult Education Centre. Partners: EducationInnovationTransferCentre Training centre „BUTS” Talsi Regional Evening and External Secondary School The Centre of Competence in Falkenberg

  4. After receiving the financing, the partnerssigned an Agreemenstating all the responsibilities both financial and content

  5. Meeting 1 Had some mingling Partners presented the situation analysis in their institutions on challenges they meet. Had a seminar on situation of Adult Education in Lithuania given by Dalia CymbaliukThe Secretary Executive of Lithuanian Association of Adult Education (LAAE)

  6. Meeting 2 Presented the international research, done by the partners Seminar “Validation of the Non-Formal and Informal learningin Adult Education”

  7. Meeting 3 Last corrections of the guide 3 Study visits

  8. Meeting 4 • All results are achieved • Let’s prepare the Final Report

  9. International comparative analysis • Was done on e-platform • Approximately with 300 respondents • Questionnaire consisted of SWOT, open questions, closed questions • Aim was to analyze the challenges that andragogue meets at state, institutional and personal levels.
