  2. FIRST, • I find the common denominator from the two fractions. Like ¼ and ½ Common denominator is /4 so all you did was times 2 and 2 and got 4. And I already had 4 as the denominator on 1/4. For ½ I times it by 2 on the bottom I had to times it on the top to so it was ¼ and 2/4.

  3. Then Once you have done with that you take the two numbers and add or subtract the two top numbers NOT the two BOTOM numbers. Like 2/6-1/6=1/6.
